The Portuguese School of Medical Physics is pleased to announce the launch of the first edition of the Training Course entitled “Shielding of Medical Installations and Facilities 2026” (SMIF-2026). This course addresses topics related to the calculation and design of shielding for Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medicine, and Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology facilities.

The course will be held between March and June 2026 and will be delivered primarily online by national and international experts. It also includes practical sessions.
