The EFOMP Medal honors an individual who has pursued an outstanding and internationally acknowledged contribution to the advancement of medical physics.

IOMP - IDMP Awards

The IOMP-IDMP award was established in 2015-2016 and recognises excellence in Medical Physics with a particular view of promoting medical physics to a larger audience and highlighting the contributions medical physicists make for patient care. The IDMP Award is given annually on the occasion of the International Day of Medical Physics (IDMP) – 7th November. The President or Secretary General of each IOMP Regional Organisation is requested to nominate medical physicists from her/his respective region.
