Publication Date: Jan 14th, 2018 18:20, Category: EFOMP Announcements
Dear colleagues and friends,
On behalf of the EUTEMPE-net, I wish you a very happy and interesting 2018.
2018 may be an important year for the EUTEMPE-RX network: we have another series of high level courses ahead. It is maybe your occasion to make a selection and take benefit from all the knowledge, skills and competences that are being shared.
All course modules have an extensive online preparation part prior to face-to-face teaching in small groups (maximally 25p). The face-to-face takes place in the department of the module leaders. The many practical sessions, site visits and local networking make it a unique experience for all participants.
There are 3 remaining places for each of the 2 upcoming modules:
Module 8 in Lausanne: ‘Mathematical model observers developed and implemented for patient dose optimization in CT’
Model Observer approaches should be used in CT QA testing. They will become a tool to master.
The experience includes getting started with your own model observer algorithm.
Register today! Be quickly. The online part has just started. Face-to-face is from March 12-16, 2018 in Lausanne. See www.eutempe-net.eu, write us at info@eutempe-RX.eu, contact Prof Francis Verdun (Francis.Verdun@chuv.ch).
Module 12 in Braunschweig: ‘Personnel dosimetry and techniques to communicate practical results to the users’.
This module takes you also to a calibration lab and to the city of Berlin. The module starts with the online part March 1st, 2018. The module leaders invite you to Braunschweig from April 16 to 20, 2018.
Register today! See www.eutempe-net.eu, write us at info@eutempe-RX.eu, contact Markus Borowski, m.borowski@klinikum-braunschweig.de.
Other modules are approaching too.
Summer time will bring us to Crete (the largest Greek Island!) for ‘Radiation dose management of pregnant patients, pregnant staff and paediatric patients in diagnostic and interventional radiology’ and to Udine (Italy) for ‘High dose X-ray procedures in Interventional Radiology and Cardiology: establishment of robust protocols for patient and staff dose’. In September, the place to be is Ferrara (Italy) for ‘Innovation & Advanced X-ray physics for imaging devices in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology’.
Module 9 in Udine, module leader Annalisa Trianni (trianni.annalisa@aoud.sanita.fvg.it), has its online part from April 15, 2018 onwards, and the face-to-face 25 – 29 June 2018
Module 11 in Crete, module leader John Damilakis (john.damilakis@med.uoc.gr), starts the online part April 1st, 2018 and welcomes you to the face-to-face from 21 to 25 of May 2018.
After summer we go to Ferrara.
Module 4 in Ferrara, module leader Angelo Taibi (taibi@fe.infn.it), starts the online part on the 1st of July 2018. The module leaders invite you from Sept 24 – 28, 2018.
Plenty of opportunities to become a better trained medical physics expert in radiology.
Ensure your place today!
This teaching team is supporting the network with their best possible teaching input in medical physics in radiology:
The EUTEMPE-net is a non-profit organization. It is not financially supported by any bigger organization.
The courses are EBAMP accredited.
Participants from the following countries have reduced registration fees: AL, BY, BA, BG, CY, EE, GR, HR, HU, XK, LV, LT, MK, MD, ME, PL, RO, RU, RS, SI, SK, SLO, TR, UA.
Be welcome, be our guest!!!
