EFOMP Malaga Declaration 2023: An updated vision on Medical Physics in Europe

Please find attached the new EFOMP Malaga Declaration 2023: an updated vision on Medical Physics in Europe which was published today in our journal EJMP. This important document was updated by members of the Professional Matters and European and International Matters committee lead by Brenda Byrne, Chair of Professional Matters Committee

EFOMP's governing committee is grateful to all who helped revise this document for their efforts and significant amount of work including our National Member Organisations (NMO) who provided feedback during the review period.

The Malaga Declaration asserts EFOMP’s vision of the role of Medical Physics professionals in Europe and it is an update of the original Malaga declaration 2006.

This declaration was approved by EFOMP NMO´s delegates in April 2023.
