NucAdvisor & EFOMP were selected by the European Commission to implement a study, in the frame of SAMIRA, on “the implementation of the Council Directive 2013/59/Euratom requirements for medical equipment with respect to monitoring and control of patient’s radiation exposures”.
The specific objective of the study is to support Member States in the implementation of the Council Directive 2013/59/Euratom requirements for medical radiological equipment, with respect to controlling, recording and reporting of patients’ radiation exposures.
The first step of this work is to:
- Assess the current level of implementation of the article 60 and 58b of the Council Directive 2013/59/Euratom requirements for medical equipment, with data describing the standards in your country, and not only the best practices.
- Identify best practices to help Member States implement the Council Directive by creating a guidance document.
A survey has been prepared and all EFOMP NMOs are kindly asking you to send feedback. Survey link
