EFOMP session at MEIBioeng/MPEC2017

An EFOMP session was hosted by the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine on the 13th September at Sandown Park Racecourse, Esher, Surrey. This year the Medical Physics and Engineering Conference (MPEC) was for the first time combined with the Medical Engineering Initiative’s Bioengineering conference (MEIBioeng). Six invited talks have been given​ by EFOMP representatives during the MEIBioeng and MPEC 2017.

• Scientific workgroups - Mammo dosimetry, Cone Beam CT protocol, etc: Mika Kortesniemi, Chair of the EFOMP Scientific Committee
• Communication activities - New website and social media: Efi Koutsouveli, EFOMP Internet Manager
• Projects activities: Virginia Tsapaki, Chair of the EFOMP Projects Committee
