European Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and Biology - 36 Annual Scientific Meeting
Start Date: Oct 3rd, 2019 00:00
End Date: Oct 5th, 2019 00:00
Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands
A WARM WELCOME
Dear friends and colleagues,
It is a great pleasure to invite you to our 36th Annual Scientific Meeting taking place in Rotterdam, Netherlands: a vibrant port city, where exceptional art meets revolutionary architecture as well as a fantastic culinary and nightlife scene.
You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a completely new congress experience, which now combines the advantages of a focused workshop with the broad, scientific scope of an annual meeting. For the first time, the ESMRMB Annual Meeting will be organised around three major themes:
Machine Learning in MRI – Acquire, Reconstruct, and Apply
The educational programme and plenary sessions, as well as the Roundtable Discussion and Hot Topic Debate will focus on these three topics.
Scientific sessions, however, will cover all topics, and we invite you to submit your research on any MRI-related topic you have been working on in the last year. This programme structure will allow you to gain in-depth knowledge in one of these topics or combine sessions to suit your own interests, enhancing the educational benefits of visiting our congress.
Our annual meeting has been successful in cultivating integration and collaboration between clinicians, physicists and radiographers, between junior and senior researchers, and between the fundamental and applied sciences. Moreover, the ESMRMB is the platform for preclinical and biological research. To encourage interactions within this community a dedicated pre-conference day (2 October 2019) will be organised on preclinical imaging and spectroscopy.
Rotterdam is a city of innovation that ranks as a top European tourist destination. Our congress will take place at De Doelen ICC, located across from the futuristic Rotterdam Central Train Station, which is directly linked to Schiphol International Airport (25 min) and a range of European cities.
We look forward to welcoming you in Rotterdam for a memorable congress!
Prof. Matthias van Osch
Chair of the Scientific Programme Committee 2019
