EFOMP Working Group for quality control in CBCT: To convey the final approval of the guideline by ESTRO and IAEA. The next steps to complete the initial goals of the group, which deal with the unification of quality control in CT and CBCT, will be also discussed. The members of the group will be happy to join other interested attendees to discuss the present and the future together.
COCIR - EFOMP: During this meeting a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between the two organizations.
The two parties commit to promote constant collaboration and exchange, to foster training of medical physicists on the best use of new equipment an technology in radiation imaging an therapy and to reduce radiation exposure of patients and users. To this purpose, perspectives of future collaboration between the two organizations in the field of Education and Training will be discussed during the meeting.
ECR Physics in Radiology Subcommittee - EFOMP Meeting:
Meeting to discuss proposals for future ECR sessions, feedback from the ECR Programme Planning Committee and other topics related to ECR program for Medical Physicists.
EFOMP Working Group Mammo: The joint European Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (EFOMP) and American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) Task Group on developing a new universal breast dosimetry method will have an open meeting for all interested physicists, and others, attending ECR in Vienna, to present and seek feedback on the aim, work plan and current status of the group.
